It's not just the 1000r curvature that is an improvement over CRG9, most notably the black smearing has been greatly reduced if not nearly eliminated. If I had to make that same choice right now, I would go for the G9 most likely.īut I don't think that you'd regret either purchase. Having said that, I feel like you should consider going for the more future proof option with the G9, especially if you're going for a powerful GPU that lets you push those frames more. Since that is the FPS I can hit on my system, I don't think that the G9 would give me a massive boost to my gaming experience as things stand. Other games like WoW and Path of Exile also look stunning on it and reach a solid 120FPS in general. Recently I have been playing Outer Worlds on it, and even though the support isn't as good as it could be, once the FOV is set properly it's an amazing experience, and everything on Ultra (Shadows on High) gives me around 80 to 100 FPS on my current 2080 TI graphics card at the monitor's resolution. I "only" have the CRG9, and I can tell you that it's an absolutely wonderful panel for both work and games.
